This version was originally released in Japan on March 9, 1991. It is the first Dragon Ball Z movie to be dubbed with Funimation’s English in-house voice cast (not counting the Ultimate Uncut edition of the previous movies). It was also the first movie which involved real-life American rock bands for its English release, with bands including Finger Eleven, Disturbed, Dust for Life and more.
